Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for training of new games area assistants.
- Supervise personnel.
- Meet with Mountainlair Administration on weekly basis.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- All aspects of daily opening and closing of the Games Area.
- Ensure user safety by closely monitoring patrons, and ensure the equipment is used in the correct manner. Ability to communicate with patron of misuse when needed.
- Operate Micros cash register.
- Ability to count money and give correct change.
- Light housekeeping of Games Area, including dry mopping of bowling area and operating the lane oiler machine.
- Complete reports and documentation in accordance with university and department policies.
- Keep counter area secured at all times.
Scheduled Hours
Those selected for this position will be assigned shifts during the following times:
- Sunday: 3pm to 9pm
- Monday-Thursday: 3pm to 10pm
- Friday: 3pm to 2am
- Saturday: 6pm to 2am
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled WVU student in good academic standing (required)
- Previous supervisory experience (preferred)
- Exceptional customer service skills (required)
- Ability and willingness to work weekends and evenings (required) Cash handling (required).
- Must be able to pass WVU’s Handling Training prior to being able to start working.
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
