Through collaboration with WVU Arts and Entertainment, the A/V Technical Department provides audiovisual services for patrons of the Mountainlair. With onsite student technicians to assist with the setup and running of events, we offer a wide variety of equipment, including:
- Portable TV/DVDs
- LCD Projectors (For customers with their own laptops)
- Media Carts (Projection system with laptop included)
- Smart Room Systems
- Microphones
- Portable Sound Systems
- Monitor Speakers (One Mix Only)
- Stage Lighting (Ballrooms Only)
- Conference Phones
Wireless internet is available via WVU Guest, and hard-wired ethernet connections can be requested from Reservations, along with any other necessary equipment. Many of our rooms are equipped with built-in projection systems or large screen televisions. We are happy to meet with clients in advance to discuss their technical needs and how we can best accommodate them. Technicians will arrive one hour prior to the start time of the event, unless otherwise arranged.
