  • 1. Bowling Alley - A tradition since 1968, Mountainlair Lanes offers 16 lanes of bowling on the ground floor. 
  • 2. Table Tennis - Table tennis paddles and balls can be checked out for free from the Games Area counter with a WVU ID.

  • 7. Billiards - The Mountainlair Games Area is home to 10 full sized, competition level billiards tables.
  • 8. Side Pocket (Room G12)- Side Pocket serves as a lounge and as a multifunctional room for various events and activities. The room can accommodate up to 67 people and has a large TV monitor.

The Mountainlair's lounges provide spaces to relax, connect with other students, and work on assignments.

  • 4. Shared Services Center - Your one-stop shop for accessing human resources, financial management and sponsored-project financial management services and support.
  • 10. Dining Services - We're committed to providing balanced, nutritious meals in a pleasant atmosphere and educating our customers about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.
  • 11. Student Support Services - A federally funded TRIO grant program, providing voluntary support services to qualifying undergraduate students.

The Mountainlair's lounges provide spaces to relax, connect with other students, and work on assignments.

  • 14. Gluck Theater (Room 114)- The Gluck Theater is used for a wide range of programs ranging from Up All Night movies and karaoke to reservations and formal ceremonies.
  • 15. Shenandoah Room (Room 106)- Can accommodate various group sizes ranging from 42 to 90 people. The room also includes two projection screens.

  • 17. Center for Fraternal Values & Leadership - Providing support and guidance for more than 70 recognized fraternities and sororities at West Virginia University.
  • 18. Student Engagement & Leadership - Committed to providing student-centered activities, educational experiences and inclusive leadership development programs.
  • 19. Career Services - Our career development specialists are ready to assist students with resume reviews, practice interviews or job search coaching.

  • 20. IT Service Desk - The ITS Service Desk provides Mountaineer Card services, walk up support, copy services, and more.
  • 21. Post Office - The Mountainlair Post Office provides a complete range of postal services for the use of all students, faculty, staff, and the general public.
  • 22. Information Center - We can assist in navigating and answering questions regarding the Mountainlair, campus and the local community. Stop in today for assistance!
  • 35. PNC Bank - Students and employees have access to the bank’s full range of service and a direct deposit service for financial aid and tuition reimbursement.

  • 40. Arts and Entertainment - Arts and Entertainment is your source for concerts, shows, and other performing arts acts.

  • 39. Potomac Room (Room 230)- Located on the second floor adjacent to the administrative offices, the Potomac Room has a 16-person conference table with a large TV monitor.
  • 43. Bluestone Room  (Room 220)- Located on the second floor, the Bluestone Room has a 26-person conference room table with 3 large TV monitors and a video conferencing camera.
  • 44. Gold Ballroom (Room 237)- Located on the second floor, the Gold Ballroom can accommodate various group sizes ranging from 120 to 250 people.
  • 45. Greenbrier Room (Room 232)- Located on the second floor with views of the Mountainlair Plaza, the Greenbrier Room can accommodate various group sizes ranging from 22 to 55 people.
  • 46. Cathedral Room (Room 233)- Located on the second floor, the Cathedral Room can accommodate various group sizes ranging from 16 to 45 people.
  • 47. Blackwater Room (Room 234)- Located on the second floor, the Blackwater Room can accommodate various group sizes ranging from 16 to 36 people.
  • 48. Mountain Room (Room 238)- Located on the second floor, the Mountain Room has a 18-person conference table with a large TV monitor.
  • 50. Laurel Room (Room 241)- Located on the second floor, the Laurel Room can accommodate various group sizes ranging from 14 to 45 people.
  • 51. Rhododendron Room (Room 242)- Located on the second floor, the Rhododendron Room can accommodate various group sizes ranging from 60 to 90 people.
  • 52. Blue Ballroom (Room 236)- Located on the second floor, the Blue Ballroom can accommodate various group sizes ranging from 240 to 600 people.
  • 53. Tygart Room (Room 245)- Located on the second floor, the Tygart Room can accommodate 14 people at an octagon table.
  • 54. Monongahela Room (Room 244)- Located on the second floor, the Monongahela Room can accommodate various group sizes ranging from 14 to 45 people.
  • 56. Cacapon Room (Room 251)- Located on the second floor overlooking the downtown campus, the Cacapon Room has a 14-person conference room table with a large TV monitor.
  • 57. Kanawha Room (Room 252)- Located on the second floor overlooking the downtown campus, the Kanawha Room has a 14-person conference room table with a large TV monitor.
  • 58. Mountaineer Room (Room 253)- Located on the second floor overlooking the downtown campus, the Mountaineer room can accommodate various group sizes ranging from 36 to 50 people.
