The Student Union Activities Board is comprised of five student volunteers. Volunteer Board Members serve on the Student Union Activities Board to provide programming opportunities and activities to the student community at West Virginia University.
How You Can Join
Prospective members must apply at the beginning of the fall semester. Applicants will then go through an interview process to be selected for a position on the board.

- Applications open August 26, 2024
- Applications close September 6, 2024 at 5pm
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled WVU student in good academic standing
- Strong interest in student programming, activities, and event planning
Duties and Responsibilities
- Attend bi-weekly board meetings
- Attend additional meetings as necessary as part of planning student programs and activities
- Collaborate with fellow board members to plan, execute, and assess board-planned student programs and activities
- Attend Student Union Activities Board events located around the Morgantown campus (Downtown, HSC, Law School, Evansdale)
- Develop new and innovative programming opportunities and activities
- Assist in the management of the Student Union Activities Board budget
